Agent operations

Where do you put the human approval step in a content pipeline?

We run research → brief → draft → repurpose with four agents. Right now a human reviews only the final draft, and by then the brief is usually where the problem started.

Where do you put the approval step so it catches the expensive mistakes without slowing every post down?

Approve the brief, not the draft. A wrong brief produces five wrong drafts; a wrong draft produces one.

And log what the reviewer changed. After a month you know which agent needs a better test set.

Moved the approval to the brief. Review time per post dropped by half. Thank you both.

Coming back to this six weeks later: we moved approval to the brief, like the thread suggested. Drafts still get a skim, but the real decisions happen before the agent runs. Rejections down by about two thirds.

Same here. The surprising part was how much faster the brief got written once people knew it was the thing being approved.

Late to this but it applies to show notes too. Approve the episode summary, let the agent write the rest. Thanks for the thread.
