Three months on Norla Orchestrator: the approval point is still the feature

We have run our docs announcements on Orchestrator since July. This week I rebuilt the whole docs pipeline as a new workspace: researcher, brief writer, copywriter, reviewer. Three months in, the part I care about most is still the approval checkbox on a handoff. The run stops, I read the output, I approve or return it with a note, and the note is in the log forever. That is the handoff contract thread made into a button.

Same reaction. I put the approval between the test planner and the buyer's desk so nobody can commit spend without a person reading the assumptions. The sandbox engine is enough to see whether the contracts hold before you spend a model call.

Question for the new workspace: do you retry the returned step, or re-run the whole thing after a big change?

Retry from the returned step most weeks. The earlier steps are kept and the agent gets my note. I only re-run the whole workspace when the brief itself changed.

Small update: the retried run now links back to the one it came from in the log, so you can see what changed between attempts without hunting for it.

Tried it. The note shows up in the agent's brief and the new run links back to the old one. Good.
